Order initiation: The workflow begins within your ERP. A sales order is generated, which serves as the immediate trigger for the API.
Automated execution: Without manual intervention, the Newblims TMS receives the data and executes a predefined logic sequence that analyzes carrier rates against your business rules, determines the most efficient routing, books the shipment with the selected carrier and generates the BOL.
Financial reconciliation: Once the shipment is processed, the system closes the loop. It sends the audited shipment data and exact costs back into the ERP via the API.
Cycle completion: The ERP automatically updates the GL, and the final invoice is generated and matched against the invoice from the carrier once received (match pay). The cycle, from order to invoice, is completed rapidly, maintaining total data integrity and simplifying the settlement process.
